New passport fees now in effect

    New passport requirements and fees are now in effect: • Previously, applicants under age 14 needed both parents to sign their application. Now, both parents are required for applicants under 16. One parent is required for applicants age 16 to 18. The U.S. State Department has raised the following fees to: • 16 years of age and older: $75 • 0 to 15 years of age: $60 • Each Expedite fee: $60 Passport Card (The passport card facilitates entry and expedites document processing at U.S. land and sea ports-of-entry when arriving from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Bermuda. The card may not be used to travel by air.
