Frederick M. Hoffman was sworn in as a Town of Warwick police officer on Aug. 17. Hoffman has been on the force for about eight months, but the ceremony took place in August. The town has 36 police officers, including five part-time officers, to cover the town’s 104 square miles and about 31,000 people. (Photo by Linda Smith Hancharack)
