Music at Railroad Green

Earlier this summer heavy rain showers had chased away some of the audience but not the entertainers. On Saturday, Aug. 4, Pete Holmgren, owner of Village Music, his brother Charles, Matt Price, and “OLAJ,” a “Gypsy Jazz” trio with Pete Holmgren, Kevin Adreas and Dan Parra returned to play under clear skies for a full house at Railroad Green. Not to be confused with the Summer Arts Festival, this was the fourth in a series of seven free concerts scheduled by Village Trustee Bill Iurato and sponsored by the Village of Warwick. This Saturday at 7:30 p.m., Aug. 11, the public is invited to listen or dance to the music of “Caribe Sol.” (Photos by Ray Diebold)
