Municipal planners host regional speaker

    GOSHEN-The Orange County Municipal Planning Federation's annual dinner will begin with a social hour at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 29, at the Harness Racing Museum and Hall of Fame in Goshen. Bob Yaro, president of the Regional Plan Association, will speak on the importance of land-use decisions in the context of transportation planning, and the importance of adequate transportation funding. In addition, the members will be asked to approve the nominating committee's slate of officers and board members. The dinner is open to anyone interested in community planning.
