Middletown City Band to perform in village park

    WARWICK-The Middletown City Band will perform an evening of popular patriotic songs and marches at Stanley-Deming Park between 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. on Saturday July 3 as part of the Warwick Village Board's Summer Concert Series George McManus, Chairperson of the Summer Concert Series, invited ocal residents to grab their blankets and chairs and join friends and neighbors under the stars for summer evenings of music and fun. Here is this summer's musical schedule: On July17th Activist Singer / Song Writer Holly Near will perform as part of the Warwick Summer Arts Festival. Saturday July 31st brings Peter Spink. Aug. 14th Jeanne Marie Lowell will entertain. And on Aug. 28. The New York Swing Exchange will close the Summer Series. Village TrusteeThe concert series has been aided by donations from The Bank of New York, The Kennedy Companies, Lehman & Getz Engineering, Country Chevrolet & Oldsmobile, Claudia Vaccaro Real Estate, Bonacic, Blustein & Krahulik, Peter Barlet Attorney and DeGraw and DeHaan Architects. The Warwick Lions will sponsor the Dial A Bus to pick up seniors and for provide balloons for the children. The Warwick Reformed Church has offered the church in case of rain. Besides McManus, Concert Committee members are Jack and Marge Porter, Miri Saperstein and Jerry Sommer.
