Menorah celebration at Galleria Mall

    Middletown — The Chabad led by Rabbi Meir Borenstein will be holding a Hanukkah celebration at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 28, at the Galleria Mall off of Crystal Run Road in Middletown. The event, for all people and Jews regardless of affiliation or observance, will include a Menorah lighting. Many people are expected to attend, as well as dignitaries. County Executive Edward Diana will be attending and lighting the menorah. The celebration will offer live music, Hanukkah games and crafts for children, a kosher hot dog stand, a free Latkeh bar with toppings, and a Grand Dreidel Spinning Contest. There will be a life-size video presentation and olive press demonstration, and pictures with Judah the Maccabee will be taken. For security reasons, registration is required.
