Warwick — The Albert Wisner Public Library will offer “Great Expectations with Small Budgets: The Smart Way to Invest Scarce Marketing Dollars” at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 27, at the library at 2 Colonial Ave. in Warwick. The seminar will be presented by marketing consultant Peter Hall. Regardless of the size, each business faces the same challenges in the market: How to get noticed, how to differentiate yourself from competitors, how to sell more products and devices, and how to keep the customers you worked hard to get in the first place. At this seminar, participants will learn how to identify, reach and influence target audiences with a variety of marketing tools - without going broke. Hall is a graduate of Marquette University and has a masters in business administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He has run the New York market for Moet-Hennessy and Robert Mondavi Winery, and was the director of marketing for the CIT Group. He served on the board of directors for the Association of Equipment Manufacturers and CONEXPO, as marketing director for McGraw-Hill Information Services, and launched the corporate services division of Nordstroms. In 1996, Hall founded Business Demographics, a marketing consulting firm. As creative director, he helps organizations grow by improving their visibility through website design, traditional print media, and other marketing solutions.
