Workers spent the early part of this week assembling the various rides, refreshment stands and other amusements that will be part of the Warwick Fire Department’s annual summer carnival at Veterans’ Memorial Park in the Village of Warwick. The carnival started Wednesday and will run through Saturday, June 23. The fairway is open 6-11 p.m. on Friday, which is Emergency Services Night, meaning that anyone wearing a shirt, jacket or hat with a fire, police or EMS logo on it can ride all night for $12. On Saturday, the carnival is open from 5 p.m. to midnight and includes the Warwick Fire Department’s fireworks display at 10 p.m. (Photos by Russ Crespolini)
