Make a wish and see Santa in Pine Island next Friday night

Pine Island — For the 53rd year in a row, Santa will visit the Pine Island Firehouse, this time on Friday, Dec. 16. This hometown tradition once again will be hosted by the Pulaski Fire Company. Refreshments - hot dogs, marshmallows and juice - will be available starting at 5:30 p.m. Santa is expected at 7 p.m. The firefighters ask that each child bring his or her letter for Santa. The firefighters will make sure that all the letter will be delivered to Macy’s Department Store, which in turn will be donating $1 for every letter the store receives to the Make- A-Wish Foundation. All children, parents and grand parents from the Pine Island area are welcome. Last year, more than 230 kids were on hand to greet the Big Man in Red. Call 845-258-1410 for further information.
