Low cost spay neuter for felines

    Pomona — The Hudson Valley Humane Society will be hosting a low-cost spay/neuter clinic for cats on Thursday, Oct. 27, at its facility at 200 Quaker Road in Pomona. Procedures will be done at a mobile clinic operated by The Animal Rights Alliance, commonly known as T.A.R.A.. The cost is $70 per cat and includes the procedure, a rabies shot, ear cleaning and nail trim if needed. Ear tipping of stray cats is also available and must be requested at the time of booking. Additional services such as distemper vaccine ($10) or an application of RevolutionT or FrontlineT are available for $15 per dose.
