Long-term care issues to be presented
Goshen Cornell Cooperative Extension Orange County is offering a free and unbiased presentation of long-term care insurance issues. The workshops will be held on Nov. 15 and again on Dec. 18 in Goshen. “Most people learn about long-term care the hard way. The costs can quickly consume a lifetime of hard work and savings. While most of us do not like to think about it, long-term care needs do arise,” said Stefanie Hubert, extension educator who will be presenting a free, informative workshops on the subject in Goshen. “With a New York State Partnership Total Asset Protection Plan, you can protect all of your assets and still be eligible for Medicaid Extended Coverage if your long-term care needs extend beyond the period covered by your private insurance policy. The Nov. 15 or Dec. 18 workshops will run from noon to 1 p.m. and will be repeated from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Legislative Chambers at the Orange County Government Center, 225 Main Street in Goshen.
