Local students named to college dean's lists

• Lexa Abrahamsen of Warwick has been named to the dean’s list at Wagner College of New York City for the fall 2006 semester. To be eligible, a student must maintain a grade point average of 3.5 or better for the semester. • Victoria Barone, a graduate of Warwick Valley High School, has been named to the dean’s list at SUNY Geneseo for the past two years, attaining a GPA of 3.4 or better. She is currently completing her course work in elementary education, special education and history. • Kaitlyn Hurley of Warwick, has been named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at Fairfield University in Connecticut by maintaining a GPA of at least 3.5. A nursing major, she is the daughter of Terry and James Hurley. • Miranda Whitney of Warwick, has been named to the president’s list at Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, N.H, for achieving a GPA of at least 3.5 during the semester. She is majoring in psychology. • Kimberly Zis, a 2006 graduate of S.S. Seward Institute, has been named to the dean’s list at The College of St. Rose in Albany for the fall semester with a GPA of 3.6. She is an early childhood-special education major.
