    Contributed by Leonard DeBuck 1 medium Butternut Squash 3 T butter 4 T packed brown sugar salt & pepper Pre-heat oven to 350° Wash the exterior of the squash. Cut in half length-wise. Remove the seeds. Place squash face-up in 9x13 pan with ½ cup of water. Bake for 1 hour. Scoop out squash from its outer peel. Mash it in a glass bowl. Add butter, brown sugar and salt & pepper to taste.
