Zumba, tricky tray to benefit Warwick Animal Shelter

WARWICK — Zumba for the Cause, Party for the Paws fundraiser is all set for June 14, 2013 at the Warwick Valley Middle School.

The Party for the paws fundraiser will feature a multi-instructor Zumba-thon, a 100-plus item tricky-tray, live DJ music and a 50/50 raffle. All proceeds of this event will benefit the Warwick Valley Humane Society. Doors open at 6 p.m. for the tricky tray, previewing and ticket purchasing; calling begins at 8:30. The Zumba-thon starts at 7 p.m..

You may purchase Zumba-thon tickets for $15 beforehand and $20 at the door. Presale tickets are available at the Warwick Valley Humane Society and at Zumba with Annie T. classes. The admission to the tricky tray is free. The tricky tray prizes include an American Girl doll, spa and beauty baskets, dinners for two, teeth whitening, jewelry, fitness certificates, themed baskets, and so much more.

"I am so proud to be hosting this event and hope to make it an annual one," said Annie Tinnirello from Zumba with Annie T. "The Warwick Valley Humane Society does so much for our community and it means so much to me to be able to give back to such a great organization."

The Warwick Valley Humane Society is a not for profit organization that has provided a clean, comfortable safe haven to lost, abandoned, unwanted, abused and neglected animals. They have properly cared for them with medical attention to the injured and ill until these animals are re-united with their families, adopted or appropriately released.

The Warwick Valley Humane Society relies heavily on contributions and fundraising to meet their operating expenses and veterinary charges. Party for the Paws has received support from numerous sponsors. Some of the current sponsors include Fetch, NY Dance Center, Hometown Pediatrician, The Green Team Real Estate Group, Law Office of Jacob Tuckfelt, FAS training, Village Tire, and The Sugar Loaf Guild.
