WARWICK — Love Grows Child Care celebrated First Steps Achievement at graduation ceremonies on June 23.
The facility has been providing in home day care and after school care for children six weeks through 12 years for more than a dozen years; it has staged college-style graduation ceremonies for its pre-school students for the last seven years.
“Setting the standard of expectation is of paramount importance for our youths,” said Cecelia Cenot, the owner and director of Love Grows Child Care. “They go into kindergarten with a sense of accomplishment and a desire to do more and be more.”
More then 60 family members and friends attended the graduation.
The 2017 graduates - Aidan J. Sabbagh, Jayden R.J. Maynard, Kylie A. Alicea, Lilliam A. Humbert and Thomas R. Joy - entertained the audience with the reciting of the opening prayer, singing of the National Anthem and reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.
Cenot presented each graduate with a plaque with their name and a description of each letter, a diploma and certificates of accomplishment. A family-style social followed.
