Young actors perform at Sugar Loaf PAC this weekend

Members of the Acting Out Playhous will perform this weekend at the Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center in a production of ìHonk! Jr.,î a retelling of Hans Christian Andersenís ìThe Ugly Duckling.î
SUGAR LOAF — Local children, grades 1-5, from the Acting Out Playhouse will perform this weekend at the Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center in a production of “Honk! Jr.,” a contemporary retelling of Hans Christian Andersen’s “The Ugly Duckling.”
The performances are on this Saturday, Aug. 10, at 1 p.m. and on Sunday, Aug. 11, at 3 p.m. in the main theater of the center.
The Acting Out Playhouse, formerly located in the Village of Warwick and still under the direction of Terry Odell, is now the in-residence children’s theater group at Sugar Loaf PAC. “Honk! Jr.” is the group’s third production of the summer, having just completed “Winnie the Pooh.”
