WARWICK — Vastu Yoga Studio is hosting Karma Yoga classes every Friday through the end of September from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

All classes are donation-based and all proceeds will go to Katelyn’s Kause, beginning this Friday, Aug. 10, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

The studio is located at 17 Main St. in Warwick. For more information, visit www.vastuhealth.com or call 845-987-7475.

According to its Web site (www.katelynskause.org), Katelyn’s Kause is a 501c3 non-profit charitable organization founded in memory of Katelyn Knebel from Warwick. Katelyn lost a long and hard battle against cancer in 2004.

Her uncle, Gary Knebel, and several of his co-workers at Mid-Orange Correctional Facility held a softball tournament to raise funds and donated the proceeds to the charity of Katelyn’s choice. From this idea arose Katelyn’s Kause.

Katelyn’s Kause is based out of Warwick and is a subsidiary of “Cops Care,” a New York State Police and Correction Officers Benevolent Association Inc.
