WVT cover art contest

WARWICK — Renelle Lorray’s photograph, “Upper Wisner Road,” will be featured on the cover of the 2013-14 Warwick Valley Telephone directory.

She was the first-place winner in WVT’s 34th annual directory cover contest. The runner-up winners are Kathy Randall in second place for her oil painting titled, “Brady Farm,” and James Amore in third place for his watercolor painting titled, “Blooms Corners Sentry.”

The 2013-14 WVT directory is set to release in June 2013 and will continue to be issued through May 2014.

“Picking a winner was not an easy task this year,” WVT’s marketing director Jean Beattie said in the press release announcing the awards. “All of the submissions were absolutely beautiful. It was wonderful to see so many amazing artistic renditions of our serving area.”
