WARWICK — WTBQ Radio sponsored a Classic Car Show on Oct. 7 for Warwick Rotary Club at the Warwick Drive-in.
The final tally is not in but proceeds, which go directly to Rotary, which then donates throughout the year to non-profits in our area, are expected to be almost $3000.
The first time event was held at the Warwick Drive-In and the winning car owners were presented with 30 trophies and customized dash plaques.
In addition to entry fees, money was raised from food trucks, the sale of gift certificates and raffle tickets
Owner Beth Wilson donated the use of the Warwick Drive-in and invited everyone after the car show to watch a free movie, "Grease."
