'We'll always have Warwick'

Photographer Robert G. Breese shared this photo of a woman checking out the Love Locks on the Carriage Path Bridge on Saturday afternoon. Warwick Mayor Michael Newhart introduced the notion in 2015. "There is a walking bridge in Paris called Pont des Arts that is similar to the Carriage Path Bridge because it has decorative iron railings," Newhard said in an interview at the time. "Lovers attach an engraved padlock to the iron work and toss the key into the Seine. Just as Paris is the 'City of Love,' Warwick is the 'Village of Love.' Couples are doing the same here, attaching a token of their love and tossing the key into the Wawayanda."
