Warwick Working on the town hall building

Anyone visiting the Warwick Town Hall will notice that construction has begun on the sidewalks and the front steps.
According to Supervisor Michael Sweeton, the first phase will be the sidewalks from the first handicap space near the front of the building around to the rear of town hall adjacent to the courts.
When that’s completed, work will shift to the front steps and landing. Visitors will then enter the building via the rear until the work is complete.
Signs will be posted.
Sweeton said this project is long overdue and apologized for any inconvenience caused to constituents.
He also noted that the town saved more than $25,000 by re-bidding the project.
