WARWICK — On Thursday, Aug. 30, public and business representatives joined executives and employees of the Warwick Valley Telephone Company for a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a special announcement.
Warwick Valley Telephone has been the area’s leading local phone service provider for 110 years. And on this anniversary, the company has chosen to celebrate its past with a step into the future by entering into the wireless market as an authorized business-to-business agent for Verizon Wireless.
Although the company’s primary sales market will be small and medium business in upstate New York, the Warwick office on Main Street will have a lobby stocked with both demo and model phones that any consumer can test and purchase on site.
