Warwick Valley Humane Society receives $2,800 animal shelter grant

MONTGOMERY — The Warwick Valley Humane Society was one of four animal shelters to receive funding through the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan.
The foundation established the Hudson Valley Animal Shelter Fund through a bequest from Jean Rowe to provide financial assistance to nonprofit animal welfare agencies throughout the Hudson Valley.
The recipients were:
Clopon’s Safe Haven Rescue: A grant of $575 to assist in the costs of adding a screened-in section of the shelter. More information can be found at www.cloponssafehaven.com.
