The newest alumni: The Warwick Valley High School Class of 2016.
WARWICK — Purple and white were the colors of the day last Saturday, June 25, as 352 seniors collected their diplomas and joined the ranks of Warwick Valley High School alumni on their way to begin the next chapter in their lives.
As is tradition, the morning was filled with speeches from students, faculty and board members.
And then the moment arrived for these young men and women to remove their motor boards and fling them into the air.
They were high school students no more.
Congratulations and best wishes to all.
