WARWICK — More than 500 shoppers stopped at the annual barn sale sponsored last weekend by the Warwick Valley Gardeners at Stone Bridge Station, just off Wisner Road.
This year’s sale, co-chaired by Catherine Bennett and Mary Berrigan, raised $4,150. The proceeds will be used for the creation and maintenance of nine gardens in the Village and Town of Warwick.
The Warwick Valley Gardeners is also engaged in serving the community in other ways including conducting Garden Therapy at Mt. Alverno Center, providing scholarships, and enhancing the library’s horticultural collection.
Bennett and Berrigan offered their thanks for the community’s support as well as their appreciation to Jim Murray, who donated the use of his barn for the event.
