Warwick Valley Farmers Market opens May 12

WARWICK — The Warwick Valley Farmers Market will open its twentieth season on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 12, at 9 a.m. in the South Street parking lot in the Village of Warwick.

The Gravikord Duo will serenade shoppers as they have every opening Sunday since 1994.

Thirty vendors will be on hand to offer a varied selection of locally grown and produced fruits, vegetables, mushrooms, organic greens, honey, jams and jellies, maple syrup, goat cheese, cow s milk cheese, eggs, grass-fed beef, free-range chicken, goat meat, bison, pork, ostrich, olive oil, vegan smoothies and juices, freshly-made pasta, sauces and salsa, artisan breads and baked goods. Market vendors also offer prepared foods, olive oil, cut flowers, plants, orchids and hand-crafted soaps.
