Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce to host first mixer of 2014 at the Copper Bottom

FLORIDA — The Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce invites members and would-be members to get out of the cold and ignite some hot business leads at one of the warmest culinary landmarks in The Warwick Valley.
On Wednesday, Jan. 29, The Copper Bottom Restaurant at 162 North Main St. in the Village of Florida will host members of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce and other guests for an after-hours business mixer from 6 to 8 p.m.
This first business mixer of the year will be an opportunity to meet, greet and socialize with business professionals from around the region in a refreshingly refined setting. Guests can relax with a complimentary glass of wine or beer while sampling a variety of hors d'oeuvres with a gourmet flare. And each guest will receive a special discount offer from the restaurant and also be eligible to win a variety of raffles and prizes.
A cash bar will also be available.
"I am looking forward to hosting this exclusive gathering at my restaurant for the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce," said chef and owner Kevin May.
Located in the center of downtown Florida, The Copper Bottom Restaurant serves lunch and dinner Tuesday through Saturday along with hosting private events and offering off-premise catering. May and his wife Denise Moderno-May also own and operate Bottoms Up Restaurant and Pub in Slate Hill.
Business mixers or evening get-togethers, held during most months, are social events where members can enjoy each other's company, share ideas and generally "network" in an informal setting. They are among the many benefits of membership in the Chamber and priced to just break even.
Essential information
The cost to attend this first mixer of the year is $10 for members, $20 for non-members.
