Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce celebrates reopening of Restaurant Latour

HAMBURG, N.J. — Crystal Springs Resort in Hamburg, N.J., recently announced that its flagship restaurant, Restaurant Latour, had reopened after being closed for renovation since late November.
On Tuesday, Jan. 22, members of the Warwick Valley and Vernon Chambers of Commerce joined Restaurant Latour executives and staff to celebrate the occasion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The renovations were designed to reflect Restaurant Latour's unique connection to its natural surroundings in the Kittatinny Mountains by bringing the woods indoors in a stunning new room full of natural finishes with panoramic mountain views.
Regular patrons of the restaurant will continue to enjoy its four-course and seven-course menus prepared by Resort Executive Chef Aishling Stevens and Chef de Cuisine Matt Laurich.
The restaurant's new eight-seat 'Somm Table' allows for the exploration of unique wines from emerging regions and small producers together with Miyazaki beef, Mangalitsa lardo, caviar and more.
Restaurant Latour executives stated that with its all new decor, Latour will be the benchmark for dining in the state and will continue to serve the best of the best with whatever is in season.
And whenever possible, the chefs will source locally from small farmers and producers.
The Crystal Springs Wine Cellar was built by resort founder Gene Mulvihill. The wine collection is curated by Chief Operating Officer Robby Younes and Wine Director Susanne Wagner. This collection has won Wine Spectator's Grand Award every year since 2006.
Chrystal Springs Resort features two hotels and amenities including six golf courses, two day spas, 10 seasonally inspired restaurants and an award-winning wine cellar.
