Small Things Inc. continues to recognize health care heroes with its Truckloads of Gratitude campaign.

On Tuesday, July 14, a “Host a Hero” lunch package was provided to the Medical-Surgical unit at St. Anthony’s Community Hospital in Warwick. The meal included empanadas with rice and sweet plantains plus cupcakes for dessert, prepared and delivered by Small Things Inc. partners Empanada Master and Crumm Cakes Cupcakes & Baked Goods. This gift of gratitude was sponsored by a Warwick resident with appreciation for the “very kind and compassionate care” received during a recent stay at the hospital.

Small Things Inc. was formed in Warwick in April. Its current campaign raises money to gift meals to local heroes serving the community. In partnership with local food and dessert trucks, the nonprofit is currently honoring health care workers and emergency responders.
