Warwick town beach opens

GREENWOOD LAKE — The town beach at Thomas P. Morahan Memorial Park is now open weekends through June 23 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
On Monday, June 24, the beach will be open seven days a week.
The town park at the end of Windermere Avenue in the Village of Greenwood Lake is the only public access spot on Greenwood Lake. The park includes a sandy beach area with a swimming area supervised by lifeguards.
There also are rest rooms, a children’s play area, a volleyball court and picnic area. Dogs not permitted.
A day pass for a resident cost $4; one for the guest of a resident also is $4.
A day pass for non-residents is $10 per person.
Season passes also are available. Call the Warwick Town Clerk’s office at 986-1124 ext. 1.
