On Saturday, May 4, 10 artists came together at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 70 Little York Road in Warwick. Under the direction of Amanda Trowell of The Painting Trowel, they created a beautiful wall hanging, depicting a wreath of leaves and flowers, with the word "Blessed" underneath. They enjoyed complimentary refreshments, including wine from the church's neighbor, the Warwick Valley Winery. After expenses, a check of $250 was presented to Shirley Puett, administrator of the Backpack Snack Attack by St. Peter's Head Elder Carol Long. "Thank you, Shirley, and your helpers for all that you do for the children of the Town of Warwick. God bless you."
