Small Things Inc. is hosting a community fund raiser to benefit Warwick Valley VFW Post 4662.

The pop-up food truck event, “Support A Hero,” will take place at Warwick Town Hall on Saturday, April 24, from 4 to 6 p.m.

Local food truck Smokin Grate BBQ will offer its signature “Gr

ate Plate” – featuring menu favorites pulled pork, brisket, mac n’ cheese and more.

Plates are $25 each and are available via pre-order for pickup at the event.

Orders will be accepted online through Wednesday, April 21. The order form and additional details are available on Small Things’ Facebook page @smallthingsinc10990.

All proceeds will be donated to the VFW’s Building Fund.

COVID guidelines and recommendations will be carefully observed, and masks and social distancing will be required. To assure compliance with New York State’s regulation of large gatherings, all orders are offered with “pick up and go” service.

“Small Things Inc. was formed for our neighbors, to raise and distribute funds to benefit our community, and our local veterans need our support,” said founder Tracy Gregoire. “Funds are needed to assist in building a home base for the post. This is our community’s chance to serve those who have served our country. We look forward to seeing you!”

Small Things Inc. is a tax-approved 501(c)(3) charity, founded in Warwick in April 2020. To learn more visit www.smallthingsinc.org, Facebook and Instagram.
