Warwick Sesquicentennial Committee needs volunteers
WARWICK — Be a part of history and join the Village of Warwick’s grand Sesquicentennial celebration by volunteering to help with some the many festivities that will take place from Wednesday, Aug. 2, through Saturday, Aug. 5.
The Village of Warwick Sesquicentennial committee is seeking volunteers for a variety of tasks and events.
The committee meets every Wednesday at Village Hall, 77 Main St., in Warwick.
• Seeking Centennial Committee members
The Sesquicentennial committee is also reaching out to everyone who served on the Village of Warwick’s Centennial committee in 1967.
Anyone who participated in the Centennial committee is welcome to be in the parade on Saturday, Aug. 5.
Line up for the parade will be at 3 p.m. and the kick-off is slated for 4 p.m. F
or the Centennial committee members who do not wish to march, cars will be available to drive them along the parade route.
