WARWICK — Warwick Valley High School senior Elizabeth Niblo, an advertising and design student at CTEC, took third place in the high school category of a national poster competition.
The “Beneath the Sea - Ocean Pals National Poster Contest” is an environmental education-through-art program. Its purpose is to encourage young people to become aware of and share their concerns for the marine environment through poster art.
Their messages will be brought to the widest possible audience to create a stronger commitment to protect the environment on which all life on this planet depends.
The theme for this year’s poster competition was “Save Our Sharks.”
