Warwick Rotarians receives District Awards

Warwick Valley Rotary Club members received three top awards at District 7210’s Annual Conference in Poughkeepsie. Immediate Past President Wayne Patterson, left, displays Rotary International President Kalyan Banerjee’s prestigious “2011-12 Changemaker Award.” Warwick was one of five clubs in the 64-club, eight-county Rotary District to earn the comprehensive achievement citation “for making positive and significant change in the community and the world.” Past Warwick President Stan Martin, center, was honored for his three years as District Assistant Governor. Warwick dentist Dr. Edwin Wiley was named Region 6 Rotarian of the Year for Vocational Achievements. Wiley was recognized for “outstanding dedication to the advancement of his profession as an opportunity to serve the community while encouraging the highest ethical standards in business practices.”
