Warwick native Stacey Baker, who now resides in Tennessee, has organized a 5k run to raise money for the fight against ALS after her sister, Sandy West, was diagnosed with the disease.

The 5k, scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, will start and finish at Andrews Cadillac, located at 1 Cadillac Drive in Brentwood, Tenn. A 1k Fun Run/Walk will follow at 9:30 a.m., with 100% of the registration fees going directly to ALS charities.

For Warwick area residents who cannot make it down for the event, a virtual race has been organized. If interested in taking part, visit wilcotrackandfield.org/5kforals for more information.
