Warwick Memorial Day

Monday, May 27, is Memorial Day, a day Americans honor those who lost their lives in defense of our nation. Remembrances in Warwick being early and go into the afternoon.
• Village of Warwick – Nicholas P. Lesando, Jr., Warwick Town Post #214 of the American Legion will hold its parade beginning at 11 a.m., starting from the Village Hall on Main Street. Ceremonies along the route will be held at the Warwick Cemetery, St. Stephen’s Cemetery and the Firemen’s Monument at the entrance of Memorial Park.
• Village of Florida – Parade 2 p.m.
• Village of Greenwood Lake – Service at American Legion 2 p.m.
• Pine Island – Members of the Polish Legion will meet at 7:30 a.m. and march to St. Stanislaus Catholic Church for the 8 a.m. Mass. Parade begins at 9 a.m. followed by a service in the cemetery and a wreath placement at the PLAV Veterans Memorial. All are invited to the PLAV for refreshments afterwards.
