Warwick Knights of Columbus sponsors 'Chose Life Parade' on May 11
The Knights of Columbus Council #4952 is sponsoring the first ever “Choose Life Parade” on Saturday, May 11.
This event is a family-friendly pro-life parade, not a rally, Council #4952 said in the press release announcing the event.
Lineup will be on High Street in the Village of Warwick from 12:30 to 12:40 p.m. with the parade stepping off at 1 p.m.
The parade will end on Railroad Green.
At the conclusion of the parade there will be various speakers, including Dr. Elizabeth Rex, co-founder and president of The Children First Foundation, an organization whose mission is to promote and support adoption and safe havens as positive choices for unplanned and unwanted pregnancies and newborns.
"All parade participants will be asked to sign a Statement of Peace and Conduct, pledging to conduct themselves in a Christ-like manner at all times," the Council concluded in its press release.
