At its grand opening, the Hudson Sports Complex attracted guests from across the region – as well as from across the Atlantic – and in the process raised $22,000, of which a contribution of $10,000 will benefit non-profit Beautiful People, an adaptive sports program for children with disabilities in Orange County.
“We are so grateful for the generosity and spirit of community that HSC has shared with Beautiful People,” said Holly Borzacchiello, board member and program director with the organization.
The donation will directly support sports programming throughout the year, including baseball, soccer, basketball and cheerleading.
Beautiful People is a community sports organization that enables joy, inspires hope, and fulfills dreams among children with disabilities and their families.
