PINE ISLAND — The Warwick Hope Chest Thrift Boutique in Pine Island is now holding its expanded Halloween Costume and Decoration Sale with costumes and decorations ranging from $1 to $10 to support their free clothing bank.
“When people purchase their new and gently used costumes and decorations from The Hope Chest," said Laura Shanahan, a manager at The Warwick Hope Chest, "they are not only getting a great bargain for the entire family, but are helping us provide clothing and home goods to families of need in our community.”
The Warwick Hope Chest offers new and gently used clothing, shoes and accessories for the entire family with proceeds going to support The Clothing Closet, Warwick’s free clothing bank which provides families of need with clothing at no cost.
In addition to clothing, shoppers can find a full array of home goods and linens as well as discounted formal wear.
“We are appreciative of the generous members of the Warwick community who are enabling us to reuse, repurpose and recycle their donated items,” added Shanahan as she explained that the Warwick Hope Chest exists exclusively through donations from the community.
The Warwick Hope Chest is located at the former Pine Island Elementary School at 20 Schoolhouse Road, in Pine Island.
It is open Tuesdays from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Warwick Hope Chest proceeds go to support their free clothing bank, which has distributed more than $200,000 worth of free clothing to local families in need.
