Warwick Hope Chest expands Halloween sale

WARWICK — The Warwick Hope Chest Thrift Boutique in Pine Island has expanded its Halloween costume and decoration sale with costumes and decorations ranging from $1 to $10 to support their free clothing bank.
“We are calling our event a 'Hallowgreen Happening' since by purchasing our donated gently reused, recycled costumes and decorations you are not only getting “like new” great bargains for the entire family," said Laura Shanahan, a manager at the Warwick Hope Chest, "but are helping us provide clothing and home goods to families of need in our community."
The Warwick Hope Chest offers new and gently used clothing, shoes and accessories with proceeds going to support the Clothing Closet, Warwick’s free clothing bank, which provides clothing at no cost.
In addition to clothing, shoppers can find a full array of home goods as well as discounted formal wear.
The Warwick Hope Chest, located at 20 Schoolhouse Road in Pine Island, is open Tuesdays from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Warwick Hope Chest proceeds go to support the free clothing bank which has distributed more than $200,000 worth of free clothing to local families in need.
