Warwick Historical Society seeks the public’s help
Do you know?
Recently at the Archives of the Warwick Historical Society, we received some interesting documents and news clippings.
Some pertained to the Van Duzer family, who have been members of the Warwick community for more than one hundred years.
Among the news clippings was a photo that seemed to have been included in a news magazine.
As you can see there is a photo of what appears to be a Redwood forest and some identification indicating that this lot belonged to the Van Duzer family.
We know that some families here did some investing out west in various industries.
We would love to know the history behind this photo.
If you know something about it, please contact the Village Historian, Ivy Tulin at 986-3236 and select “Archives.”
Thanks for your help.
