Warwick grad deploys to Japan

WARWICK — U.S. Marine Private First Class Mark Heidecke graduated Nov. 14 from the Military Police School at Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri.
The training prepares the MP’s to conduct criminal investigations, protect and direct logistical operations, guard prisoners of war and perform police intelligence operations.
Heidecke, who earlier graduated Marine Corps boot camp in Parris Island, S.C., will be deployed to the Marine Expeditionary Unit in Okinawa, Japan.
Heidecke graduated Warwick Valley High School and the Orange Ulster BOCES law enforcement program in 2011.
