Warwick Girl Scouts registration set for Sept. 23

    WARWICK — All girls grades K-12 are invited to the Warwick Girl Scouts' registration event, to have fun and learn about Girl Scouts, on Sunday, Sept. 23, from 2 to 4 p.m.
    The event will take place at Warwick Town Park on Union Corners Road, rain or shine under the pavilion.
    Activities scheduled for this event include crafts, a game, learning about the Girl Scout law, decorating cupcakes and enjoying a snack. Girls will be able to make a bracelet and a pinwheel.
    They will find out what Girl Scouts do, from the activities and adventures, to earning badges and helping out in our community.
    There is also a need for adult volunteers. Adults are welcome at the event to learn about becoming a leader or co-leader and other ways they can help out a troop.
