Warwick Ecumenical Food Pantry Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday program

WARWICK — The Warwick Ecumenical Food Pantry Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday program has changed this year to make the holidays a little nicer for needy families in the Town of Warwick.
This year the Food Pantry, which is located in the Warwick United Methodist Church at the corner of Forester Avenue and Route 17A, is asking for bags of shelf-stable groceries to furnish the basics, as well as local supermarket gift cards in denominations of $25 to provide families with perishables of their choice.
For each holiday, a needy pantry family will receive one or more bags packed with groceries based on size, plus a supermarket gift card.
Additional information and a list of the groceries needed to fill one bag is on the Food Pantry Website at: www.warwickpantry.com. Just click on Holiday Program.
Except for major holidays, the pantry is open 8 to 9: 30 a.m. Monday to Thursday, 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday or Thursday.
Enter from the rear parking lot at far right door of the church building.
If it's more convenient, you can also mail a check payable to the Warwick Ecumenical Food Pantry, attention Holiday Program, at 135 Forester Ave., Warwick, NY 10990 or contribute online.
"With its 2018 Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday campaign," said Glenn P. Dickes, director of the Warwick Ecumenical Food Pantry, " the pantry seeks to provide generously and equitably to Warwick's neediest families.
