WARWICK — Christ Church Warwick recently donated $5,000 to The Guild of St. Margaret Soup Kitchen at Grace Church in Middletown.

Sarah Hoch, the coordinator of volunteers for the soup kitchen at Christ Church, personally delivered the congregation’s check.

The church literally works hand-in-hand with the guild to feed those in need of assistance throughout the year, thanks to volunteers in both the Warwick and Middletown communities.

The guild is currently in need of monetary and volunteer assistance. To help, to volunteer or simply to find out more, contact the soup kitchen directly or send an e-mail to Christ Church Warwick at office@christchurch.org.

The Guild of St. Margaret Soup Kitchen is located at 12 Depot St. in Middletown.

Christ Church is responsible for serving lunch through volunteers one Sunday every month.

The soup kitchen serves breakfast Monday-Friday, 7 to 8:30 a.m.

The soup kitchen serves lunch Monday-Saturday at 11 a.m and at 3 to 4 p.m. on Sundays.
