— Hard cider, beer and fellowship will be on tap for the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce summer social next Wednesday, July 26.
The after hours business mixer will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Edenville General Store, a popular deli/market and eatery at 240 Pine Island Turnpike.
The building that is now home to the Edenville General Store was an International Harvester dealership until 1972.
It was built in 1952 by Frank Walter. And in 1986, Walter's son Joseph and his wife, Debbie, purchased it.
For many years they rented out the deli area but in 2014, after the last tenant had moved out, they decided to open their own deli/market.
The summer social is open to both chamber members and non-members and their guests. And they should be prepared to meet, greet and socialize with business professionals in a fun old-fashioned indoor/outdoor summer setting.
Guests will have an opportunity to enjoy specialty homemade appetizers while sipping on an iced cold beer or cider (cash bar available). Each guest will also be eligible to win a variety of raffles and prizes.
"We are thrilled to be able to showcase all that our establishment has to offer," said Edenville General Store Owner Debbie Walter. "The full-service family-friendly restaurant and deli specializes in barbecue with lots of other great homemade food options to choose from for eat-in or take-out. There is also an open mic night on Saturdays at 7 p.m.
Cost for the Chamber mixer is $10 for members and their guests and $20 for non-members.
