Warwick chamber to host mixer at Willow Point Marina and Jersey Paddleboards in Greenwood Lake

WARWICK — The Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce invites members and non-members to what it bills as one of the biggest social events of the summer season.
On Thursday, July 28 (Aug. 4 rain date), the lakefront property of Willow Point Marina and Jersey Paddle Boards at 622 Jersey Ave. in Greenwood Lake will be the site of an after-hours business mixer from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
It's an opportunity to meet, greet and socialize with business professionals in a casual summer setting.
Guests can keep cool on land while taking in panoramic views of the lake and enjoying complimentary hors d'oeuvres prepared by The Helm (cash bar available).
It's your option but you can also wear comfortable clothing (or bring your swimsuit) and take to the lake by way of a paddle board compliments of Jersey Paddle Boards. And guests will be treated to free boat rides and fly board demonstrations throughout the evening.
"We are happy to be here on Greenwood Lake and look forward to sharing the enjoyment of a sport we are truly passionate about with The Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce," said Jersey Paddle Boards owner Micki Lees.
Willow Point Marina Manager Tom Schweigert added, "We are thrilled to be able to showcase all that our marina has to offer."
The full-service marina features 150 boat slips, winter storage, fuel dock, snack stand, water sports, barbecue amenities, a pristine beach, fishing, paddle boarding, and fly boarding.
Jersey Paddle Boards is a full service rental and lesson shop for stand up paddle boards and kayaks. It offers Stand Up Paddle (SUP) racing and yoga, full moon paddles, day trips, and ladies night with certified paddle fit instructors and members of WPA (World Paddle Association).
Jersey Paddle Boards will also be hosting a "Paddlepaloozza" fund raiser for Backpack Snack Attack and Greenwood Lake Teen Center on September 10.
Cost to attend the business mixer is $10 for members and their guests.
Non-members are welcome to attend for $20.
