    — First established in 1965, Ye Jolly Onion Inn, at 625 Glenwood Road in the heart of Pine Island, became one of the most well known restaurant destinations in the region.
It was closed for a few recent years but reopened last November as The Jolly Onion Restaurant.
On Thursday, March 21, the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce will host an after-hours business mixer from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the newly renovated and recently revived restaurant, one of the oldest and most familiar restaurant icons in the Hudson Valley.
Guests will have an opportunity to meet, greet and socialize with business professionals from around the region and get better acquainted with the Warwick Chamber Board of Directors in a charming old-world rustic setting.
They can unwind with a cocktail in the spacious event area while savoring a variety of tasty gourmet hors d'oeuvres thoughtfully prepared by Chef/Co-owner Armand Vanderstigchel (cash bar available). And each guest will also be eligible to win a variety of raffles and prizes.
"The Jolly Onion staff," said Co-Owner/Manager Ralph Tramontana, "is really looking forward to welcoming The Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce for some good food, fellowship and a chance to showcase our dining establishment, the newest and oldest kid on the block."
The Jolly Onion of today serves mid-European cuisine with Dutch, Polish, and German influences and a twist of French and northern Italian flavors for lunch and dinner in a casual setting Tuesdays through Sundays.
The restaurant will also host private parties and can accommodate more than 150 people in its spacious event space.
The cost is $10 for members of any local chamber.
    General admission is $20.
For additional information or to make a reservation, call the Chamber at: 845-986-2720 or e-mail: info@warwickcc.org.
