Warwick. Chamber offers two scholarships

    The Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce will offer two scholarships to students living in the Town of Warwick, Town of Vernon, Village of Florida, Village of Greenwood Lake and the Village of Warwick.

    These two scholarships are offered to members of our community and are two unique opportunities.

    College-bound senior

    This scholarship is a $1,500 award given to a college-bound senior.

    Be a senior in good standing at the time of application.

    Be accepted to attend a full-time accredited college, university or fine arts school.

    Plan to pursue a career in business. Selection will be based on the committee’s criteria.

    Submit the application.

    Submit two letters of recommendation from either a teacher, advisor, or local businessperson (cannot be a relative)

    A copy of your acceptance letter from the institution you plan to attend.

    Provide a typed essay no more than 500 words explaining why the Warwick Valley? What drives you to return here and use your business knowledge to invest into our community?

    Winning applicants agree to receive their rewards as guests of the chamber at either a board meeting or event before Sept. 1.

    Future Warwick investor

    This scholarship is a $1,500 award given to a student on a non-traditional four-year college track who wants to build a business or already has an established business in Warwick.

    Be a senior in good standing at the time of application.

    Pursing a non-traditional track by either going to a vocational or trade school or be building a business in the Warwick Valley.

    Please ensure that attached is your two letters of recommendation and your letter of acceptance to an accredited university.
